Pharmacist

Doctor of Pharmacy and Professor in the Area of Nutrition and Bromatology. Has participated in 27 research projects.

Has supervised 17 PhD theses, various of which were awarded extraordinary and European prizes. Co-author of 100 publications in magazines, 69 lectures at conferences, 17 book chapters and co-editor of 8 books.

Academician (Académico correspondiente) of the Spanish Real Academia Nacional de Farmacia. Awarded the Gold Medal by the Territorial Government of Guipúzcoa (December 2006) for her “scientific career in the area of nutrition, dietetics and food safety”. José María Busca Isasi award from by the Academia Vasca de Gastronomia. Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Universidad de Navarra and co-director of the Instituto de Ciencias de la Alimentación, Universidad de Navarra.
